APP
After studying the last mile delivery market for more than 1 year, an entrepreneur from Recife looked for a company to develop a project that would allow the intermediation of restaurants and pharmacies with autonomous delivery people. From the product's conception, the objective was to optimize the use of delivery fleets, reducing the delivery time, cost of the stores and allowing an increase of the fleet on demand. The intensive use of logistics algorithms (for order routing and combination), the high availability of the platform and integrations with the various POS systems and marketplaces were fundamental for the viability of the business.
Apps were developed for delivery people, an administration panel for SODE and the establishments, as well as integrations were implemented with the order systems of the customers served.
As the great differential of the business would be the optimization of the fleet to allow the reduction of cost and the time of delivery, Mesa used professionals with master's degrees in machine learning to develop algorithms that produced the best combinations of orders and the best routes for the delivery people.
For everything to work perfectly, it was essential that the infrastructure supported all the necessary services, was redundant and able to scale quickly at peak times. For this, an architecture was built on AWS (Amazon Web Services) based on containers using Docker and Kubernetes, which ensured scalability and redundancy for the entire platform.
